VIDEO : MC Oluomo’s deputy, Koko Zaria reveals those behind the burning of police stations in Lagos

A fresh twist has been added to the burning of police stations and other government properties in Lagos state in the wake of the violent protests that erupted last week in the state.

16 police stations and several properties were destroyed hoodlums

There were insinuations that the destruction was carried out by Igbos in the state on the orders of the leader of the pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu has, however denied and washed his hands off the allegation that he ordered for the destruction of properties belonging to the people of South-West.

Kanu’s denial was on Wednesday corroborated by the one of the leaders of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the state, Ganiu Ayinde Oyedepo popularly known as Koko Zaria.

The NURTW boss cum actor is a loyal friend and one of the deputies of Lagos NURTW Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo .

Koko Zaria revealed those behind the burning of the police stations on Wednesday when he accompanied MC Oluomo to inspect one of the burnt police stations, Makinde Police station in Oshodi.

In the video of the visit, Koko Zaria was heard saying Yoruba people were behind the burning of the stations.

His revelation was in response to comments from one of MC Oluomo’s aides who was also part of the team that visited the burnt Makinde Station. 

The aide was heard saying Igbos were behind the burning of the station.

In his response, Koko Zaria said , “which Igbo get liver to come here and burn the police station? Na our people burn the station.
