Wings actress, Farrah Forke dies at 54 after a long battle with cancer

American actress, Farrah Forke, best known for her role as helicopter pilot Alex Lambert on the ‘90s sitcom “Wings,” has died at the age of 54.

Forke died of cancer at her Texas home on Feb. 25, a family friend told Deadline, People, and Variety.

The Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman star, who also performed as a voice actress, passed away from cancer at her home in her native Texas on February 25, according to Variety.

Forke was most notable for appearing as Alex Lambert on the fourth season of the NBC sitcom Wings, which ran from 1990 to 1997.

While on the show, which was created by Cheers writers David Angell, Peter Casey, and David Lee, the actress played a love interest to Joe, portrayed by Tim Daly.

She also had a recurring role on the second season of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and popped up on Mr. Rhodes, as well as Party of Five. She also acted in several movies over the length of her career, with her first being 1991’s Brain Twisters.

The late actress went on to appear in Barry Levinson’s 1994 flick Disclosure and Michael Mann’s 1994 Heat, among others.

Forke, who was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, began her acting career after appearing in a local production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She later moved to New York to hone her craft at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

The performer stepped away from her acting career in order to focus on raising her twin sons, Chuck and Wit.

Forke is survived by her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Chuck Talmage, and her three sisters Paige, Jennifer, and Maggie.

Kourtney wore black Dolce & Gabbana mini dress bearing an image of the Virgin Mary, paired with a short black veil with blue lace trim, black gloves and matching strappy sandals. Travis wore a full-length black robe.

“Congratulations” Chris Brown writes after his ex-girlfriend Rihanna welcomed a baby boy with A$AP Rocky

Chris Brown has taken to his Instagram Story to drop a congratulatory message after it was announced that Rihanna has welcomed a baby boy.

“Congratulations,” he wrote, alongside an emoji of a pregnant woman.

Chris Brown and Rihanna dated on and off.  Their relationship initially ended in 2009 after Chris physically assaulted Rihanna. Then, they got back together again years later and finally split for good.

Chris has gone on to welcome 3 children from 3 different women.

This is Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first child.

Davido hosts American rapper, DaBaby, in Lagos

American rapper, Jonathan Lyndale Kirk popularly referred to as DaBaby got into Lagos from Germany for a music video shoot with Nigerian music star Davido.

The famous rapper posted numerous videos on his Instagram page while exploring the city of Lagos. First, he visited a Nike shoe store where he bought a few sneakers, then, he shared a video of himself among a crowd of Lagosians, before entering his vehicle.

Also, he sprayed some amount of dollars to the crowd whereafter a man from the crowd warned him to hold his phone tight.

Some minutes later, the artist shared a video of him with Davido in his Lamborghini, DaBaby asked “where are we going” and Davido replied, saying “tonight, I will show you Lagos”.

Davido also posted on his social media platforms to confirm the arrival of DaBaby in Nigeria. He wrote: “My boy finna touch down the Motherland.”

The American rapper also referred to Nigeria as his home.
