The Senate on Thursday adjourned plenary for six weeks.
The adjournment is coming three weeks after the lawmakers returned from another long recess.
It was gathered that the adjournment is to enable the lawmakers observe the summer holiday.
Informed sources told The Eagle Online also that the adjournment was to enable the senators rest before the arrival of the 2016 Appropriation Bill.
It was gathered that the management of the National Assembly advised the leadership of the Senate to proceed on the vacation in order to get enough rest before the busy period of considering the Appropriation Bill.
