The Code of Conduct Tribunal has adjourned hearing on the case of false declaration of assets brought against the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki till the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October, 2015.

The court however grant the Senate President bail on self recognition

Dr. Saraki had earlier appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal along side his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu several other senators as well as former Governor of Sokoto State Aliyu Wamako.

Saraki who arrived the tribunal premises at 9:32 a.m., accompanied by “about 50 senators and some members of the House of Representatives pleaded not guilty to the 13 count charge.

He said he is being told about the charges for the first time while prosecution disagreed explaining that it is not the first time the senator is  being told about the charges.

Tight security had been thrown around the tribunal while the Tribunal has barred the media from live coverage of proceedings.
