The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy conditions over Abuja and Jos in the central states of the country on Saturday morning.
The agency said that the cities may also record localised rains.
The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Friday in Abuja.
It stated that there were chances of thunderstorms and rain over the western part of the country during the afternoon and morning hours.
NiMet also predicted that the coastal areas would experience cloudy skies with prospects of localised rain showers during the afternoon and evening hours.
It added that the inland areas would experience localised thunderstorms over the region in the morning hours, with chances of localised rains in the afternoon and evening.
It also said that cloudy conditions would be experienced over the inland areas with chances of localised rain showers in the afternoon and evening.
The agency further stated that there would be partly cloudy conditions with chances of localised thundery activities over the northern states during the afternoon and evening period.
