Manchester United have offered Barcelona Jadon Sancho in a part-exchange bid for Brazil winger Raphinha, according to reports in Spain.
The Englishman has been ostracised at Old Trafford since taking aim at Erik ten Hag in a social media post following the Dutchman’s decision to drop him from the squad for a trip to Arsenal.
Sancho has refused to apologise for his claims, and has trained individually away from the first team ever since.
United are now minded to cash in on Sancho in January but they know they will struggle to recoup the £72m they paid for him in 2021.
Raphinha joined Barcelona for a fee of around £65m in 2022, but he’s struggled to adapt to the pressure the Camp Nou.
The Catalans remain under severe financial difficulty, and the Brazilian is considered one of their biggest saleable assets.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, United have offered Sancho in a bid to sign Raphinha and Barcelona are open to an exchange.
Sancho is keen to leave to reignite his career, though it’s said he hasn’t given up hope of turning his stint around at Old Trafford.
