Kanye West, ex Irina Shayk reconnect at London Fashion Week

Kanye West and ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk shared a laugh at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week nearly one year after they called it quits.

Per a video shared by Vogue on Monday, the Yeezy founder, 45, was greeting several models backstage when he embraced Shayk, 36.

“I got you!” she told the rapper with a laugh before he moved on to talk to Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Erykah Badu and creative director Riccardo Tisci.

Shayk, who was all ready to walk in the show, donned a black, velvet, off-the-shoulder black dress with mesh gloves.

The “Donda” rapper — who has since moved on with Candice Swanepoel — matched with an all-black ensemble consisting of a leather jacket, matching leather pants, a hoodie, and crystal embellished flip-flops.

West later showed love to Shayk when he posted an Instagram video of the model walking the runway.

The brief run-in was one of the first times the former couple has been spotted together since they went their separate ways back in July 2021.

Romance rumors started swirling in June of that year when the pair were seen in Provence, France, celebrating West’s 44th birthday.

However, two months later, things quickly fizzled out when the model — who shares a 5-year-old daughter with Bradley Cooper — decided the two would be better off as friends.

“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” one source told Page Six at the time, adding that “she doesn’t want the association that they are dating” to be making headlines.

Although Shayk prefers to keep her relationships out of the public eye, West has used social media to talk about his relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, following their divorce.

Earlier this month, the “Heartless” rapper took to social media to call out his former family and scrutinize the reality star for her parenting.

The fashion designer — who founded the Donda Academy — alleged he had no say in his four children’s education in text messages between him and Kardashian, which he shared on Instagram.

West later revealed he and the “Skims” founder are on better terms and has since apologized for adding any unneeded “stress” on the reality star.

“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger,” he said when reflecting on his social media tirades while on Good Morning America.
