Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has blasted the All Progressives Congress and its governors for opposing his nomination as deputy chairman of the Governors’ Forum
Fayose said the APC and its governors have no no choice over the matter.
According to him, “I am not interested in the position because it comes with responsibilities but my colleagues are insisting that I must be the Deputy Chairman of NGF.
“I am the longest serving governor today, having served in the days of President Olusegun Obasanjo and also serving today.
“The APC governors are intruding as the PDP governors did not make any contribution when they chose the governor of Zamfara as NGF chairman.”
