Dillon Danis has been quick to mock rapper Drake after the rapper placed £700,000 bet on Jake Paul to knock him out in the ring on Saturday, but it is the Canadian who has had the last laugh. Danis and Paul were finally able to settle their differences in Manchester and unsurprisingly the bout was embroiled in drama.
During the six-round fight, Danis was dominated by his American opponent throughout and looked set to secure a unanimous points win. Moments before the final bell though, chaos ensued, as the pair and their teams broke out into a mass brawl in the ring.
Having struggled to box, Danis appeared to take down Paul in round six via a headlock before falling to the canvas himself. Having lost patience with the MMA star’s antics, Paul attempted to land a blow as Danis made his way down.
In reaction Danis attempted to chase the YouTube star around the ring, before Paul’s security team intervened, bursting into the ring and pulling Danis aside. Within seconds the ring was full of members from both corners attempting to exchange blows before the final bell officially rang.
Following the chaos, the victory was officially handed to Paul with Danis disqualified for his MMA-like antics late on. For Paul this was enough to secure the bragging rights in their bitter rivalry, but appeared to have cost famed musician Drake over £700,000, following his knockout bet.
