A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, has remanded the ex-wife of Ooni of Ife, Prophetess Naomi Silekunola; owner of Agidigbo FM, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat; and Principal, Islamic High School, Basorun, Abdullah Fasasi, at Agodi Correctional facility pending an advise from the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Ministry of Justice, Oyo State.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi, gave the order when the trio were arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Silekunola, Oriyomi and Fasasi are facing four-count charge which bordering on conspiracy, acceleration of death, negligent acts causing harm and failure to provide adequate security and medical facilities.
Some supporters and fans of Hamzat also stormed the court premises.
The heavy security presence at the court saved the situation from degenerating into chaos as the patrol vans conveying the suspects was about to leave the court premises.
