President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday sacked the nation’s service chiefs from their appointment.
The service chiefs, including the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Bade; Chief of Army Staff, Kenneth Minimah; Chief of Naval Staff, Usman Jibrin; Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosun were appointed by former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Replacements have been appointed but their identities were yet to be revealed as at press time.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, confirmed the development and said a statement on the development would be issued soon.
