Getting physically involved with someone is an experience that each of us may have in our lives. But if you are wondering whether it’s just casual sex or something more than that, then keep reading.
Some genuine signs tell us whether we are making love to someone or having casual sex with them. Here are 6 big differences between making love and having sex.
Feelings involved or not
Some people have had physical relationships with people that don’t involve feelings. It is just sex, with the two of them in it for the sake of enjoying themselves. When it comes to making love, it happens only with the person you have feelings for. It is a way to communicate and let your partner know about your love and care for them.
One time thing or regular
If you have only slept with a person once, it might be casual sex that both of you agreed to. But if you are regularly sleeping with someone, there might be a chance that you are making love to them. You understand each other’s desires in bed and try to fulfill them selflessly which can be a sign of making love to each other.
Exclusive or not
If both of you are having sex with various people, what you have going on with each other is just casual sex. But if you have been involved with each other exclusively, then that means that you both are making love to each other and have feelings in your heart.
More tender or not
If you are just thinking about physically satisfying yourself without thinking about the other person then it’s just casual sex. But if you are thinking about the other person’s needs too and are more tender and gentle with them while being physically involved, then it means you are making love to each other.
Letting your guard down
If you are in for casual sex, then you won’t let your guard down at all. You won’t feel comfortable while sharing your vulnerable side with them. You won’t look forward to them knowing the real you. But if you are making love to the other person, you will probably be comfortable with them knowing the real you.
Closer together or not
After having sex, if you feel emotionally closer to the other person, it means you were making love to each other and can share more than just your bodies with each other. But if you don’t feel any closer to the other person, that probably means you are in it just for casual sex and nothing else.
Benin Republic court declines extradition of Sunday Igboho to Nigeria, orders him to remain in cell
The Court D’Appal of Cotonou has ordered Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, to be kept in prison custody pending further investigation.
The court, however, declined the extradition of Igboho to Nigeria.
The court, which was expected to start hearing the case at 10:00am, barred reporters and supporters of Igboho who besieged the premises. The hearing commenced at about 5:00pm.
Supporters of Igboho were dispersed from the premises of the court later in the evening, prompting fears that he might be deported to Nigeria.
The government of Nigeria had accused Igboho of trafficking in arms, inciting violence to disrupt public peace, and agitating for secession. It also sought his extradition to Nigeria.
Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested at the Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou, last Monday while trying to catch a flight to Germany.
However, Ropo, who is a German citizen was set free by the court on Thursday while the self-styled agitator was remanded in the custody of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou.
Igboho was placed on the wanted list on July 1 by the Department of State Services after its operatives raided his Soka residence in Ibadan, killing two of his aides. They arrested 12 others during the operation.

Here’s what happens to your body when you stop having sex for a long time
Dry spells happen to a lot of people and it’s normal. When it comes to abstaining from sex, there are some physical consequences but most of them are as a result of not getting the health benefits that sex can offer.
Here’s what happens to your body when you stop having sex for a while.
1. Harder to get an erection
No sex for a long time in men can lead to a higher risk of developing erectile dysfunction due to a drop in testosterone level.
2. Less lubrication in women
Women in this situation may experience vaginal dryness since lack of sex and orgasms lowers the levels of estrogen – the hormone responsible for lubrication. Also, no sex for a long time can lead to problems getting aroused or reaching an orgasm. Regular sex or masturbation can keep the tissues in your vagina healthy by improving blood flow.
3. Cardiovascular health
It’s not just about sex being a form of exercise but also about the fact that sexual intercourse helps keep your estrogen and progesterone levels in balance, which can lower your risk of heart disease.
4. Increase in stress and anxiety level
Sex releases endorphins and the hormone oxytocin into the body which reduces stress and anxiety. Unless you get yourself involved in a lot of different activities that can help you reduce your stress, this will all be pent up in your system.
5. Poor Immune system
The body gets a boost from sex as endorphins are released. People who have regular sex have a high IgA, an antibody that shows how tough our immune system is. Stopping sex for a long period affects your immune system and you tend to get the flu easily.
