Armed bandits have killed a community leader, Alhaji Sabi’u Sanusi Ya’u Kaura and abducted scores of travelers in Zamfara State.
The incident occurred Saturday morning, January 25, when the heavily armed men blocked the ever busy Kauran Namoda – Shinkafi road for several hours.
Sabi’u Sanusi Ya’u Kaura was on his way to attend Abba Malam wedding in Shinkafi.
One of the survivors said that the terrorists created an ambush on the road and shot at any moving vehicles.
