Street urchins popular called area boys on Saturday assaulted the Kokomaster, D’banj in the Apapa area of Lagos State.
The incident happened around the Tin Island port.
The kokomaster was in the area to shoot a musical video.
On sighting Dbanj, the urchins rushed to meet him.
They then asked him to settle them.
Before, he could agree on the amount to drop, the urchins pounced on him and stripped him of some of items he was putting on.
After stripping him of items like shoes, jewelries, wrist watch, the urchins later put him in a container for refusing to pay the N100, 000 they demanded.
It took the intervention of police officers attached to the Honeywell Flour Mills, who rescued him and ferried him into one of the offices in the factory
