A knife-wielding elderly man attacked anti-Islam activist who was burning the Koran outside the Turkish Consulate in London.
Social media footage shared on social media showed anti-Islam activist setting fire to on the Quran, and holding it up as it burned. He was seen waving the burning book outside the consulate’s perimeter, drawing reactions from bystanders.
In the video, the knife-wielding elderly man , who snatched the book from the hooded man, spat on him and appeared to attempt a knife attack while he was on the ground.
Also a delivery worker stopped, got off his bike, hit him, and then resumed his work.
The victim, who was an ex-Muslim, said he was protesting against Turkish President Erdoğan, accusing Turkey of becoming “a base for radical Islamists.
A person burned the Quran in front of the Turkish embassy in London, prompting an elderly man to attack him, spit on him, and extinguish the flames.
