Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege Local Government and Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have pledged their unwavering loyalty and support for the impeached Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly,, Mudashiru Obasa.
The leaders made the pledge on Wednesday during a stakeholders’ meeting called to solidarise with Obasa.
The meeting was held at Obasa’s constituency office in Agege.
The APC leaders included Jubril Abdul-Kareem , Safari Adaranijo and other chieftains, commended Obasa’s commitment to inclusive governance and promised to rally behind him in his present travails.
The leaders said the party in Agege still remain under the leadership of Obasa
The leaders also pledged their unflinching support for the National leader of the party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly had on Monday ousted Obasa in a unanimous decision, citing misconduct and financial misappropriations.
He was subsequently replaced by Mojisola Meranda.
