90% NASS members have cases with EFCC – Prince Audu

 

To justify his governorship candidature, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu on Wednesday stated that 90 per cent of the National Assembly members have cases with Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Audu stated this at the National Secretariat of the APC which protesters had stormed against his candidature.

Speaking after collecting his certificate of return, the one time Kogi State governor dismissed the protesters and the EFCC case referred to.

According to him, the case has been there since 2003 and he contested the governorship elections in the State in 2003, 2007 and 2011.

The protesters were carrying placards, stating that Audu should come clean from the N11 billion allegation fraud against him before he should be qualified to fly the flag of APC.

  1. This is an indictment on the EFCC. A case since 2003 has not been dispensed with. Oya, EFCC, over to you!
