Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly (LRA), Tunde Bakare on Tuesday took aim at some South west political leaders for their opposition to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bakare, a former vice presidential candidate and convener of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG), spoke during a sermon at the church’s international headquarters in Lagos.
The fiery preacher, who recently said he would be the 16th President of Nigeria, lampooned the leaders from the region for not supporting Tinubu despite all what the former governor of Lagos State did for the zone.
He noted that Tinubu singlehandedly fought the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest during his reign as governor of Lagos.
He described Tinubu as a tireless campaigner and mobilizer for the APC that deserves to be supported despite his imperfections.
He added that Tinubu being a human being has his merits as well as his flaws.
