Lil Wayne and Christina Milian have ended their relationship after one year of dating.
ET reported that, Weezy and Milian who were first linked in July 2014, broke things off in late August, but only recently began publicly acknowledging their relationship.
Despite getting a “love hard…TnT” tattoo, which stands for Tina and Tunechi, Milian surged about Weezy in interviews.
“We have a very fun and cool relationship,” Milian told E! Online in May. “He’s a very genuine person and no matter what, love comes first with him.”
They also collaborated on songs including 2014’s “Start a Fire” and Milian’s single “Rebel,” which Weezy inspired. “There’s nothing better than that feeling of new chemistry when you’re so into someone and you could care less about what anyone else thinks…and there’s butterflies! It’s a real feeling that people experience,” she said of the latter.
The couple debuted their new collaboration “Do It” last month at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival in New York.
Milian and her family suffered a heartbreaking loss, around the time that she and Wayne called it quits. Her younger sister, Danielle, lost her newborn baby just hours after his birth.
Their busy schedules are to blame for their break-up, it was gathered.
