Lagos State Government will on Tuesday meet the tanker drivers over their return to the port district of Apapa and indiscriminate parking.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode had upon assumption of office, visited major traffic points in Apapa, to get a firsthand experience of the perennial gridlock in the area.
The governor, who had also expressed concern about the activities at the 57 tank farms in the area, said they constitute serious security risk to the state government.
He also set up a special task force to monitor indiscriminate parking of tankers and ensure free flow of traffic in the district.
