Nollywood actress, Iretiola Doyle, has urged the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, to tighten the security of the state after suffering a robbery attack on October 14 at Ilupeju area of the state. On her twitter page , @IretiolaDoyle[review] on Friday, she said the whole point during the election in Lagos was to vote for continuity, which should be reflected in lawfulness and safety on roads.

“Good to be back on the grid after losing my phone to robbers in traffic. Is there a new Sheriff in town? The touts who have taken over the motorways during traffic don’t seem to agree,” she said. The Tinsel star wondered what Ambode and the police were doing about the state of insecurity in the state, insisting that the return of thugs on the streets of Lagos was a sign of disrespect and complete disregard for the present leadership.

“Did LASTMA leave with Fashola? While the governor is defining himself, there should not be breakdown of law and order. Why the abrupt collapse of the existing system? People are being attacked every day,” she said. Iretiola advised people to remain vigilant while driving, adding that such cases were on the increase and women had been the main target.
