House of Representatives candidate of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Anambra state and their supporters have stormed the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja to protest the continued delay of the commission to act on the Supreme Court judgment in respect of the rightful winners of the National Assembly seats in Anambra state in the 2015 general elections.

The protesters, who took up positions at the entrance to the commission on Wednesday chanting solidarity songs, displayed placards which called on INEC to issue certificates of return to the representatives in order for them to resume at the National Assembly.
They also accused the national electoral body of bias in the way it is handling the matter.
