Code of Conduct throws out Saraki’s application

The Code of Conduct Tribunal, on Thursday insisted on going ahead with the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki.

Saraki’s counsel, Ahmed Mogaji had urged the tribunal to suspend further hearing on the matter pending the Supreme Court’s decision on the matter. His arguement was, however, opposed by the prosecution, Rotimi Jacobs.

 The Tribunal having listened to submissions from both counsels, refused to adjourn the case
