Bisi Ibidapo Obe, known as Bisi Omo Logba logba, has opened up on what has been perceived as a long absence from the Nigerian movie industry.
Speaking on the issue which has left some of her fans bothered, she noted; “Those who know me well know I don’t appear frequently in home videos like most of my colleagues. I don’t like hopping from one location to the other and it is not a matter of pride, but I am just being me. And the reason is that I try to give myself time to rest because as Yoruba people would say, emi ise gun ju emi eniyan lo (work is endless but life is short).
“I take my time to do my things. And again, shortly after I produced Bisi Omo Logba Logba, which became a household name, one of my senior colleagues in the movie industry advised that to stay relevant, I should not be in every movie. I held unto the advice I won’t say I regret ever taking that decision.”
Bisi’s journey started when she finished her secondary education. The mother of one, who also runs a boutique and a sex toy shop, is one of the top Yoruba actresses, who has been able to make a name for herself in the industry, despite the controversies attached to the paternity of her child.
