Former Super Eagles assistant coach Daniel Amokachi has said that he has resigned as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side FC IfeanyiUbah.
Amokachi told AfricanFootball. com, “Yes, I have resigned as the coach of Ifeanyi Ubah. I am in Kaduna right now.”
The coach didn’t go into the details of why he threw in the towel but it can’t be unconnected to the scenario that happened after the team lost 1-0 to Sharks in Port Harcourt on Sunday when the team were ordered to embarked on a night journey which the coaches and the players kicked against and did not agreed to.
Amokachi has managed Nasarawa United, Enyimba as well as acted as caretaker coach of Nigeria.
